lol...thx!

This place can be dangerous that way. Upgrade fever sets in easily, highly contagious.

I got these for a really good price on Kijiji...so you never know when a good deal turns up...good luck!

Yeah, we killed him. JK, I don't know who that is but the car looks vaguely familiar; he does need the white/clear side markers though. His site has outdated link information as regards the lug bolts, otisinc set up a special web site for those bolts at RAD USA Lug Bolts Home

I do like the look of those AMG wheels on the 210, just a bit sportier looking than I personally wanted on mine...but it was a really close call.

And rawimpact I have to ask, did you see the post I did about wheels that is in the DIY sticky? I hate to toot my own horn but there is some decent information in there as well.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Hey Benzboy,

Did you keep the stock tires (245/45x17) or did you put 235s in the fronts? I read about the rubbing with the 245s. If you kept the 245s in the front, have you experienced any rubbing?

The rims came with 235/45R17 snow tires. I put 235/45R17 Michelin Sport A/S tires on them. No issues at all. However, I've read the same about 245s being too wide for the front. My car is lowered and with these rims, there isn't a lot of clearance left. I think 245 would likely rub.

Original Lug Bolts for the W211 Rims

Can't I use the original factory lug bolts that came with the W211/rim on my W210? I see a few people bought a new set of lug bolts at RADUSA but my brother-in-law, who is selling the rims has the original factory lug bolts still. Will those fit on my W210 with these rims?

mmm....no. let's do the math again. the 211 rim utilizes 14mm bolt. they
will not thread into a 12mm hole.
