Failed Inspection for OBD/Emissions System - Benzworld.org

I went thru inspection today in NJ and they told me that i failed for a OBD/Emissions system failure can someone shed some light on this and to what should i be expecting to fix.

is your cel on? did you check for any codes?

Nothing is on my car is free of any cel error codes. After doing some research in the forum i read a post that the NJ Inspection States have a problem interfacing with ODBII system in the Mercedes. So i'm trying to find a solution

Also if you had recently disconnected the battery or otherwise lost electrical, it would cause the ECU to tell the OBD scanner "Not ready for testing" or some such thing. In order for you to get rid of that you need to drive the Car about 100 miles or so. Then go back and get it tested again.
