I saw today, no joke, a w124 with a W210 front end. , I could not believe what I was looking at. It looked really different, not bad, but not good...LOL.
1) How did they do that.
2) If a w124 can have a W210 96-99 front end fitted, could a 00-02 front end be fitted on a 98? Any comments. Sorry I didn't want to start taking pics of this guys car, because well its just strange...LOL.

I feel you on that. This was gold but the tail lights had the w124 tail lights thats how I know what it was. To be honest, had I not seen the back end I would have been fooled. He had the head lights and everything. He had an after market front bumper. It was painted sold gold color with no rims or anything, so it made it look kinda clean, but it send chills down my spine, like seeing a two headed spider......LOL
Saturday I was coming back from Baltimore and I saw a w124 ahead of me. From the back it looked normal but once I passed it and looked in the rear view mirror I wanted to throw up. They had put w210 headlights on a w124 but had not changed the fenders or anything else. It looked like they cut out some sheet metal by hand to fill in the holes around the lights. The owner had also replaced the stock grill with one of those 'rolls royce' grills you see on some older Cadillacs.

There is a company that make conversion kits to make the W124 in to a W210 in the front. I saw a Cabrio on ebay with the W210 front on it. Kind of made it look like a CLK.

I beleive they stopped making the kits a while back. I honestly was intrigued by the kit. It was a different apporach that honestly made your car stand out in a curious good way. Some how the curves of the front and rear fenders body kit of the smooth corners blended with the passenger/cabin section of the car which was well, boxy.
