Unhappy ESP Stuck on "Stupid"

The Mrs. left the lights on and let the battery run down. I got the motor club to start it up and did all the usual resets; turn the wheel lock to lock, press and hold the window buttons, enter the radio code, blah blah blah.

The ESP warning light won't turn off and the engine will not rev past idle. Very frustrating.

I let the car run to charge things up and according to the A/C diagnostic panel, the battery voltage is 13.5V.

Ideas?

Running

it to charge adead battery is about the worst thing you can do to both the battery and the alternator.Get it on a charger at least 10 hours at ten amps.Key out while on charge and then do the reset.

Thanks Lou. I'd love to make it drift but I would need some horses and an icy road. It will *not* exceed 1500RPM no matter what you do.

Exclamation point is on steady.

Run it as normal in a few days (just ignore the stupid ESP light), it reset itself after a few cycle of stop & start (in my case, on me CLK). Good luck.
