HEy guys, i was wondering how you guys felt if i put scion rims on my mercedes? I know some people are already thinking WHY??? I think that they look good, and are affordable. I dont want to go over 18inches, because the reason why i bought my mercedes was for ride quality. I have not done research for the offset or anything, maybe someone has some info?
I can get a set of 4 for about 300 dollars that are 3 days old. Here is what the set looks like (Not actual pictures):
Looking at them, it seems as though the offset is too small. Can anyone confirm this please?
That's okay, the special lug bolts and adapters you'll need (and for which you'll pay dearly, assuming you can find them for) will take care of the offset. Since your E outweighs the Scion by a considerable margin, the tires are the wrong load rating and the wheels may not be of sufficient strength, either.
Good luck...and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Its not worth the hassle that you are getting yourself into. Keep searching and saving your money. You will find a nice set soon. You should think about replica wheels. You can buy a set of replica AMG wheels on eBay for around $600.00.

Do a seach in the for sale section, type in w210 and up will come a set of 4 17" factory aluminum e430 wheels with michelin tires. I'll take $500, you pay the shipping, you can't begin to buy the tires for that price. Chris Covinsky
