I have a used 2000 E320 model, manufactured in 1999. What I see in (1) the owner's manual and (2) on internet sites like the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, says that this car has side curtain airbags. I see the "SRS" on the steering wheel, on the dashboard (passenger side) and on the doors (front and back for torso) but I do not see any "SRS" along the top like I see in other cars. I am wondering if I really have a 1999 car that is just labeled by the manufacturer as a 2000 car - the 1999s did not have curtain airbags. Anyone know the answer to this one? Thanks.
I don't have link on this computer, but on this forum we use quite often Russian site, where after typing VIN number you'll find all options listed.
