My diesel came with a heater but no cord. The dealer has the cord, and should be able to tell you if your car came with the heater. I paid about $70 for my cord.

Correct. On my NA 606, it is located directly below the rear exhaust manifold. I have no idea where it might be on your engine.

And from Northern Alberta . . . brrrrrrr!

Yeah, it's cold up here, too.

Pic taken at 0900h on the way downtown this morning.

For those of you who aren't 'bilingual', -37.5 Celsius = -35.5 Fahrenheit.

Cheers from the Great White North.

All diesels come from the factory with block heaters, but the cable is an option. I was able to use electric blanket plug for block heater in my older MB.
The heater is mounted on the passenger side block and it is barely visible. The prongs sits deep into the hole and usually it takes touching them to figure out what is it.
Would the Russian site list the option?

Do you have to roll the car every couple of hours thru the night to prevent wheels freeze to the pavement?
Great picture. Have the exterior as well?
