My AT is working perfectly (1997 E320) but when it is cold (-15C) outside and the car is cold, the sound of "wwrrrrrrrrrr" seams to come out from the AT.
It sound like a "rusted bearing" turning or a "gear to gear without oil" sort of sound. Once about 5 miles of driving, the sound fade away.
What do you think it is? Should I get it to a mechanic or just leave it like this if its running 100%. The car has 310,000 KM and the AT oil change have been done about 50-70 KM ago.
Time for another transmission fluid change... about every 50k miles it should be done... you are at about 43k km.
