DIY Traction Control dyno mode....97 E320

This is similar to the w126 temp. defeat mod.
It WILL throw the abs and etc lights like the w126 and w124's but Limp Home Mode doesnt engage(trust me I throughly tested )
Very simple just gotta know how to solder.

WORKS FOR w210 with ASR or ETC

Materials:
Wire stripper
On/Off switch
Solder
For 1996 and 1997:
1. Take off the fusebox cover and locate the pump relay module, it is the black box to the right of the silver unit.

2. Locate the first grey plug(left hand side of the module) and find wire number five. (small wire, solid black on 97's, red/yellow on ASR equipped 96's)
3. Cut the wire and strip the ends for the switch
4. Solder the switch to each end and mount it somewhere and there you go a way to turn off traction control.

It may seem a bit ghetto for some but it works and if you dont like it just desolder the switch and put the wire back together. I hid the switch in the fusebox instead of running it through into the cabin to keep it hidden. There are no bugs in this simple system in terms of when its off its really off and when its on the switch will keep the connection continous.

As with any automotive electrical connections, I highly recommend skipping the solder and investing in a good crimping tool.
