Oil Drain Plug

Any recommendations on where to purchase a replacement oil drain plug ('96 E320)? The stealer wants $8 (at least I avoid shipping charges)! Thanks.

I paid 4 Euro at main dealer for 13mm bolt and washer. Its about the norm.

order

your filter and air filter and a few spare bulbs and the plug and gasket ring are $2.50

and shipping is free if order is over 50 bucks.

If your dealer still serves free coffee, the $8 for a plug is abut right.
Coffee at Starbucks is $6.

Why do you need a new one? Stripped threads? You've got a bigger problem than a new plug. Leaking? You need to replace the sealing washer. Maybe you don't really need to replace it.

Hey, Boston.

+ 1 for ohlord's suggestion. Autohausaz.com is great and sooner or later you will need air/oil/cabin filters as well as light bulbs and windshield wipers, it's very easy to hit $50 and then free shipping makes the deal that much better. If you simply don't have that money then sell the benz, you can't afford it either.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Agreed! Just placed an order with Autohausaz for a new air filter, cabin filters, wiper insert, drain plug/crush washer and also air/cabin filters for the wife's A6. Thanks for the recommendation!
