I know that W211 wheels do fit W210 cars if you buy special lug bolts. Conversely, do W210 wheels fit W211 cars, with the right bolts..? Does anyone know exactly what spec bolts I'll need? thanks

Yes, they'll fit. Radusadirect.com (noted in the tips sticky!) has the custom lug bolts, unfortunately you'll have to determine length yourself. Measuring from the bottom of the ball seat through the wheel the bolt should extend about 3/4 to 7/8" past the mounting surface (that gives you the shaft length which is what Rad will need). One of those little pocket/keychain-type tape measures works well for this.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

So you're saying a 14mm dia shaft bolt will go through the hole in the W210 wheel designed for 12mm bolts? Tight fit I bet.

My OEM 210 wheels had quite large holes, there was lots of slop in there. I suppose I shouldn't make a blanket statement that any 210 wheel will be okay but 2mm isn't much in this league. When I was on the lesser forum there was someone who had done it and said they fit okay, not much play but it wasn't as though s/he had to ream the hole or anything.
In my work parking lot there are other employee cars that include a 202, 210 and 211 (E63, the lucky dog). Come next week -- and with the 63 driver's permission -- I'll pull one of his bolts and see if it fits in the 202 and 210 stock wheels.
Um, Frankie I'm not sure where you got your spec, but the 211 hub is drilled and tapped for 14Mx1.5 bolts. Else my co-worker got the only one they did that way.
i misread the topic, I went with the w211 wheels on my w210 car. I did go with rad as well.
I'm about to pick up a set of stock W211 wheels from my brother-in-law for use on my W210 (1999 E430). Can you clarify what lugbolts I need to purchase? From reading this thread, I presume my current lugs won't work. My brother-in-law says he still has his OLD lugs. I presume those won't work either, right?
