I have a little problem with my 1996 W210 E300D MB.
When i operate the kickdown switch, the time of the shift up more then 5 sec, and the engine just keep the higher rpm.
At normal throttle, it works fine, normal shift up.
The transmission oil, and filter is already changed, but a little bit more oil filled into the transmission (the oil state '80' on the oildipstick in cold engine).
I think that you have explained your problem clearly enough.
Normal driving - auto transmission works OK. When you kickdown there is a 5 second delay in the engine response.
I'm sure an Auto Transmission expert will be able to suggest something here. Unfortunately I'm no expert on AT.
It would be helpful to supply some more details about the car & the problem. e.g.
How far has this engine run? Is this problem there on both cold and hot engine? When did the problem start? All this information helps to diagnose a cause.
It's good for the forum also if you complete your own details. i.e, location, etc.
Normal driving- Everything is OK, soft shift up and down.
But, (of course in hot engine and AT) when i operate the throttle more than "grandpa mode" or kickdown, the engine response immadietly, and run on the higher rpm, the transmission wait 5 sec in this higher state (i hear the engine almost burning away) and shift up very slowly.
There are two input signals to your transmission. The first is the bowden cable, and the second is the vacuum to the modulator. If the vacuum is too great (low pressure), the shifts will be soft. I would check this.

I change the transmission fluid and filter AGAIN, for a better quality oil and filter, i clean it the vacuum lines with high pressure air, check it the control cable and the throttle control.
And i try to reset my transmission (722.4)
Does't change anything
Tomorrow, maybe a try it a HandHeldTester, and read out the fault codes.
