Well, in the waning hours of Autohausaz's Bosch filter sale I picked up a fuel filter and the requisite window regulator bushing repair kit.
The latter of course made more prevalent in my recent memory by driving through the Sacramento wildlife refuge in 44 degree temps and having to lower and raise the rear windows for viewing and picture opportunities. It took a while for the cramps in my fingers and knuckles to go away (from having them crossed for the duration of the visit...).
Take care and enjoy ... THE NEW YEAR!
Make it a happy one,
Greg

When you learn from your own mistakes, that's experience.
When you learn from the mistakes of others, that's wisdom.
When you fail to learn from any mistakes, that's government.
You are a brave man! As I have never used my rear windows.
Well, to be honest I don't really either, but I love my nieces more than I like my car, so it's just a small concession. Most of the reason my fingers were crossed was that if it broke it was going to be a long, cold ride home and I hadn't already purchased the bushing repair so it would have been broken for a while. (I do have the rear switches locked out so I have to raise and lower them, and the one-touch is also disabled, so I can easily control how far I lower them. "Sorry, that's all the lower they go.").
