I've just recently bought a E300TD on a 1999 reg and as soon as I thought I had fixed everything wrong with it...it gave me a problem.
I have been noticing that the car has been getting slower over the past few weeks but never really took much notice. On my way to Bluewater shopping centre I was doing about 80 at the bottom of the hill and by the top I was at 60?
Phoned my 1st point of call...my sister as she works for mercs. Told her the symptoms and said it might be your air flow meter. So got one and it is still the same. Sometimes its ok but then after about 10 mins of driving it goes into limp mode.
Has anybody experienced this? If so how did you overcome it?
