Parking sensors

I want to install rear parking sensors in my car. Can anybody advice me on this please.
1. The best place to drill the bumpers.
2. Where should i tap the reverse lamps to power the parking sensors. The reverse lamps being on the boot lid; is it easier to splice a wire and get power off it. If I am to do that, how can I identify the wires to the reversing lamps. What is the best way of tapping power to the reversing sensor.
Thanks in advance!

I have one of these:

Taurus T123 Car Parking Sensor

which did not need any drilling & works fine. I am also about to fit into my estate tailgate. The idea here will be to put the sensor strip along the plastic lower edge trim.

Probably a US sourced equivalent?
