I presume that, filter-wise, the E300D and the E320 are the same thing so that http://www.hastingsfilter.com/products/af1150.pdf applies?

Yep, although the one you note above is for the CHA$$$CHING charcoal filter, the other one is for the regular cabin filters.

The cabin filter set is $15 or so, IIRC. The charcoal element is over a hundred.

If I rarely, if ever, use the button for the carbon filter, will I have to replace the carbon filter at some point?
