there's a DIY on these boards...but let us know what trouble you're having specifically, with pictures, if using the DIY and moving that plastic clip out of the way doesn't help..will help me particularly because i plan on doing this soon.

you need to slow down and read the posts on this thread.
i can't get the top two screws out. can't see them either, so it is a blind procedure. any ideas what how i could get to them? i tried shining a light to see them but the door of the glove compartment blocks my view.
edit: i looked in the holes using a mirror and the screws were missing. so the glove compartment popped out. problem solved. paul

Hey, Paul.
Apparently that must be a relatively common thing, mine didn't have them either. No rattles, so I'm happy to NOT have to fuss with them.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

just a note on this as I have been speaking to a dealership service dept recently about the glove box screws.
be VERY CAREFUL when taking out the rubber-headed glovebox screws (coated with rubber for dampening effect, so glovebox does not rattle). i stripped one of mine and had to remove it with pliers. i went to the dealership to find a new one and they actually had to research it as they initially sent me the wrong ones.
the glovebox screws they CAN give you are the full metal ones that screw top-down into the bottom of the box, and which are covered by plastic covers to level the glovebox floor. the rubber-headed screws facing the DIYer as s/he attempts to take out the box and change the filters only come with the glovebox itself and are not available to purchase separately. as such, be very careful when using a philips screwdriver on that rubber head - it's very easy to strip! i'm going to head to Home Depot and see if I can buy a screw and fit some rubber material over it to simulate the same effect to replace my stripped screw.
small issue, but figured i'd post it for reference for those down the road that want to try this. great DIY, this and cabin filter replacement are easy, cheap, and necessary!
