i ordered a set of cool looking 18inch alloy rims. will post pics when i get them. got a set of 18 inch Pirelli 240 snowsport tires too.

but we all might be playing the 'waiting game', i ordered mine 2 days ago, and got an email from DT today that they got HAMMERED w/ orders, it might take a while..

Thanks for the tip. Just bought 4 Falken 452 (275/40/18 rear and 245/45/18 front for my S class) for $500 shipped. I just bought an identical set 3 weeks ago when my old tires worn out, but with the saving, I figure having another spare set laying around is not a bad idea

Tire price (among all other import goods from Europe & Japan, and oil from middle East) would only go up from now. The dollar keep going down the toilet, and it's just matter of time before maf decide to pass that sinking dollar index to consumer higher price. Oil already hit $90, other goods wouldn't be too far behind.
