Radio made a "click, click, click" then quit working. Help!
I don't know where to go to find out what is wrong so I am here looking for suggestions. Has this happened to anyone and who do I go to for help? Would it be a fuse or the radio? The radio is the original, not aftermarket, no command or CD changer.
While driving, I heard a series of 3 loud "clicks" and the radio shut off. The display on the radio is completely blank and the radio will not turn on after pushing the "on" button.
The display on the radio menu screen just has "Audio" and beneath it there are 4 dashes (- - - -). I read the manual and if there is a power failure it will display CODE but that is not what I see.
I would most appreciate any help that you guys can offer.

It sounds to me like you have a power problem. Maybe a bad connection somewhere and you lost all power to the radio. Try entering your radio code and see if that restores functionality. If it does, you'll have to start tracing your power supply to the radio, looking for a bad connection or a bad wire. Normally if a fuse blows, it goes permanently, but check the radio fuse for bad seating, or change it out just in case you have a dodgy fuse (very cheap even if it does not help).
Well, I had a guy at work check the fuses and he said it looked good. Pulled it out, put it back in and the radio now works. Next time I will get a new fuse.
