passenger side turn signal bulb does not illuminate once a while - at first i thought the bulb was out, but if the bulb is gone then it wouldn't light up a bit later would it?! if the bulb is ok, then what else might be wrong? it's just the front bulb, the mirror & rear bulbs are OK. thanks

just had the same problem in a honda my oldest girl has, turned out to be the filament was broken and would work sometimes and not others. If not check the socket for corrosion and it is pushed in all the way.
^^^^ +1 to ohlord's suggestions, those were my only thoughts as well.
If I remember right these things are regular 1157NA bulbs, quite cheap and easily available, so just replace the thing and when you remove the old bulb you can look at the base, if it's clean and nice you can guess there probably isn't any corrosion in the socket.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

I think Matt's more accurate than my memory and besides, I can't think of any reason that would be a two-filament bulb. So that would be the 1156A. (Sheesh...the A is amber, but now I can't remember what the N means...) In any event, Pro, at least these are regular bulbs you can get anywhere instead of the odd 150 degree-pin rear bulbs, so just change it already before I embarass myself again.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg
I bought Euro bulb holders so I could use the 120-degree pin bulbs.
USA bulbs are crap.
Speaking of which, too bad they don't sell the lamp set boxes either.
Cheers
