Question Remove sun visor vanity mirror.

Hello,
2001 E320 W210

Before I get out my pipe wrench, does anyone know the easy way to remove the sun visor vanity mirror? I need to do some repairs on them.
There are cracks at the hinge points for the covers.
Thanks,
Joe

The mirror assembly is available as a separate part from Mercedes. No need to replace the complete sun visor:

Thanks,
I did that "Pin" fix some time ago. I cut a little piece of "grounding wire" (the aluminum type) that was just the right size and much softer to file down to length.
My problem is now worse. The frame is also cracked and I now have to remove the whole thing to attempt a fix.
Got the part number for the mirror now and I'll be checking that out.

Duvalmotorcars

Hey, Joegons, if you head over to duvalmotorcars.com and put in your part number they'll email you back with the price and shipping, etc.

They're an MB dealer that sells parts online for a pretty good discount.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

I am so very disappointed with the quality of the materials used for the trim on the Benz.
It should be a rare event with these visors for the hinges of the mirrors to fail.
