if i were to sell this car how much do you think i can net? its a 2000 e320 white on tan, mint in and out. comparable to new cars at the benz dealer, that kinda of new. 2-3000 miles on new rims and tires, remus exhuast, quiet like stock. currently 68k on the odometer. i love this car but i am eyeing something else right now.
Problem is you are in that price range that buyers either have cash(the only way to deal)or they need a bank to finance them and some have trouble getting that with poor credit and all and some banks are reluctant to lend on a private party sale.
Set a price, post it on all the forums,mbworld.org included and craigslist and I am sure you will find a taker at that price range,if it is as nice as it looks has been maintained and has no maine rust issues.
Gut feeling, you won't enjoy much else out there as much as you enjoy the w210,so why not keep her?She is barely broken in!
and there is so guy down in boston that is looking and would be willing to spend 15 g on an 96if it checked out,you may want to locate him and see if you can sell him yours for like 25G

i paid 13000 plus my trade four months ago, plus the rims and the muffler and also the aftermarket stereo i just put in, i think i can get more than mid 12's if you see this car in person. in this area, a 2000 with 100k+ e320 is still going for 12g+ at some use car lots. you cant really compare prices on cars on ebay.
I agree mid 11-12... Asking price at a dealer is not a good indication of private party resale value, Ebay is. As far as your extras pull them, sell seperately, and sell the car as stock. The extras will add little to know value for resale. This is just my opinion, but I have bought and sold over 30 cars myself in the past couple years.

bla bla bla they dont add a nickel to the deal, some of them actually make it less.Don't know how many times I need to point this out but if you paid dealer price for any benz 5-10 years old,you paid to much for your whistle.........
When you stop regretting it,then and only then will you be able to move on.
I was being generous on the high end of my estimate. So put it up for sale, see what she brings and post the honest numbers when the deal is done,Not been far off the mark yet,and the harder pushed to say mine is the most exceptional,it has this stereo, look at how much I over spent on my wheels and exhaust,it is those guys that really take the hit hardest.Pride cometh before the fall...............
2000 E320 Mercedes Benz Sedan 4dr - $11495obo 80k miles
2000 Mercedes E320 - $11400 obo low miles
2000 black on black Z-0 CHROME WHEELS (WORTH $2150) 80k miles 12.5 obo
E320 Mercedes Benz 2000 - $11999 50,000 miles
More?
good luck
ohlord, the guy who will buy his car will be a young guy, and not an older gentleman. so that;s why things like a remus exhaust (which is a really nice one), new amg wheels + tires, paint/leather color combination etc do add to the car's value. just because you don't want all the extra stuff, doesn't mean the rest of the world doesn't also.
said i would not want all the extra stuff? If it was on it,and the car was in top shape and passed my exam,I would take it if it was well done and to my liking. It's just that I would not pay more then the car was worth,stock..Add ons, mods, don't add up to a hill of beans in most cases.
look at the guy with the low mile and it is in really nice condition 2000 with the $2150 set of Z-O wheels and new tires that set him back a bunch in the size he shoe horned in the wheel wells,Did that make his car be a $14,500.00 car?Or is he basically getting market price and throwing in the wheels and tires for free?He will sell a very nice, well taken care of 2000 E320 for less then the 12.5grand and he will move on.
BTW I'm 57 retired at 52 to pursue my hobbies, racing and fishing in the great northwest,I got this wagon for our family,I am picking up another for my wifes real estate business, maybe a sedan maybe another wagon, and if it has nice mods at the right price i will buy it,and I am young at heart but definitely not a young guy!!!!!!! So I think you need to change your demographics, some people with the wherewithal to buy any new car choose the w210 for its looks, ease of working on if that is your thing and great bang for the buck.
ohlord
I bought my E320 new back in 2000 for close to $50k. It's pretty sad that I wouldn't even be able to trade it in now for a new Civic without paying a difference...
