Oil light sensor defective - Benzworld.org

Has anyone seen this warning? It was in Red on my 98 E320 Wagon. I have had alot of electrical problems and wonder if this is a true emergency.

Do you have an oil dipstick? If so, it's not a real issue as long as you continue to check the oil. Otherwise, well, do you feel lucky? In any case, the oil level sensor isn't very expensive and can be changed without invasive surgery. Be sure to get a new seal.
