I have a broken fog lamp / light cover. I saw threads on how to replace bulbs but could not find one explaining how to change the cover. Can someone help with instructions?
Also, can I find these at Autozone etc. or is this a dealer only item? While I am at replacing them, is there any other product which is better than the standard one that comes with car?
If you're talking about the actual lens to the fog light, they are all one unit and the entire fixture needs to be replaced. Stealer wanted 118, got one on Ebay for 38, NIB. Have to take the wheel off for access, but it's an easy project.

Um, Sailswish, I don't know where you got your info, but the foglights on the stock W210 are NOT a sealed unit.
You can buy genuine factory lenses for under $20 online (autohausaz.com for example), the factory unit is probably better quality than the aftermarket thing, but that's not saying much.
To replace, pop the belly pan, I think there are four clips that hold the assembly in place, pop it out and there are a few spring-steel clips that hold the lens on. Put a rubber treatment on the gasket when you install the new lens and it will seal moisture longer.

Oh, I had to get the entire fixture because the lamp socket had broken. It what I got from Ebay was aftermarket, it was totally identical to the OEM unit.
Thank you both. I called autohausaz and they would only ship the item. I am 5 minutes away from them but I can't pick it up!! I will find a place where I can pick up lense and give it a shot.
