Please can someone help me?!
We came home from holiday and the battery on the car was flat. We recharged it - no problem. 3 weeks later the battery went flat again. This affected the car alarm so that the fob wouldn't turn the alarm off. We opened the car manually and recharged the battery thinking we could reset the alarm later, however since recharging the battery, the alarm goes off when we open the car with the fob and the engine has been immobilised!

We are car-less.
Has anyone else solved this problem? I have seen speak of resynchronisation - - is this needed here?
What should we do to reset the alarm?
Given that no one would want to steal the car, would disconnecting the alarm system sort this out? If so, how do we do this?
Thanks in advance for any advice
Jo
