DIY brake advice

I recently did pads and rotors F&R on my 00 4matic wagon, thanks to the helpful pdf on the stickypost. However, something's not quite right.

Front: I cannot get the anti-rattle spring to sit with both ends underneath the wings. I have them where one side is under and one is above and that is enought tension to keep it from falling off, but I have found some pictures and I know that's not right.

Rear: there is obvious play in the right rear inner pad, with nothing to keep tension on it. I have the two pin calipers. I bought the anti-rattle spring for the rear from the dealer and received a grey cruciate shape metal spring. There must be another pin or something that can keep this thing in place. The parts diagrams which are not too helpful show some sort of t-shape pin. I also saw somewhere spacers for the pads. However I cannot picture how it all goes together.

When I step on the brakes I hear the click from the rear, sounds like a camera shutter, and when I am not on the brakes there is a faint whine/squeal coming from somewhere, don't know where.

If anyone has or could take a picture of the rear caliper showing the pins and spring as they should be assembled I would be grateful so I can figure out what if any parts I'm missing. Any advice appreciated too. Thanks in advance.

Always do one side at a time so you have a reference of how it looks correctv.s. the side you are r/r.
