Ahem. I take umbrage at that. This is one of scores of threads that are in the DIY stickies (check the cropped screenshot below). I don't want to admit how many hours I spent rebuilding and enlarging those and rearranging them into the current structure and I know Matt L and Joe55 have poured lots of time in as well, all of us building on the simple scheme adopted by OBX884 and Storm.

If we separately stickied each DIY thread you would literally never be able to get to the non-stickied posts.

I don't mean this to sound unduly harsh, but it would be nice if people would read through those HELP!! TIPS/DIY threads from time to time, they might be surprised what is in there.

Is there other advantages to going to the new 7 speed fluid(001989450310) other than cost?

Did I completely miss the boat and the new fluid IS the advantage?

I found a good price for the old fluid(001989210310) on ebay and don't want mess up for a cheap price?
