Question Speaker Dash Cover Help

Looking to replace the speaker covers at the corners of the dash - for a '98 320. Didn't realize these things were made of cheap plastic that crumble like overdone toast. Any suggestions on where to look for replacements (other than the obvious - dealer)? Thanks

I have been trying to take mines off for the longest, but whenever I apply a lil force, I hear the crikkle and crakkling so I just leave it. If you got yours off, what size speaker is in there???

Before checking ebay or other sources, you should check the "obvious." Sure, some of their parts are expensive, but not all of them.

Whatever size it is, it's not connected to the stereo system.

...Hi guys I have a 96 E Class and have removed the speaker grill many times as it is handy to get wires down the side for my SatNAv, but I have never had a bother with them feeling weak or braking, (Did you make sure you removed the screws first?

So there's "no" speaker in there??? I'm pretty sure a speaker can't function on its own...

There is a speaker in there, and it is not connected in any way to the stereo system. It's for the phone.

Your stereo speakers are in the four doors (with tweeters near the A pillars if you don't have the Bose system) and in the deck.
