I put those wheels on my 210, I think they improve the looks tremendously.
Then I went to the 17s from the 211, they really look sharp.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Well I am feeling better. I was able to stop the 17 inch tires and switch them to 225/55R16s. Your right these rims do look nice and they would look great in 17 inch. Thanks for cheering me up.

Your 211 16"s look great! Your scenario has given me an easy & cheap way to liven up my '98 with the pancake flat wheels & still keep a very factory appearance. With modifiers swapping out factory wheels I might just luck out dollar-wise!

If I am measuring correctly and I am hoping I am not the wheels appear to be 9x16! Presently they have 225/55R16 95H tires. While the spare is a 235/45R17H tire. From MBUSA web site the 2000 E430 Sport came with 8Jx17 wheels and the manual says the correct tires are 235/45R17 93H.
Damit I ordered new 235/45R17 93V tires. They are definitely not going to fit on 16 inch rims.
From the MBUSA web site this does appear to be a regular W211 dual spoke 8Jx16 wheel and they say the correct tire is 225/55R16 96H. Damn.
I bet the dealer swapped them out when the car came in off the 3 year lease with only 3,000 miles. I wondered why a car with 31,000 miles needed a third set of tires. Now I know.
I was mad, but now I'm laughing. These wheels are growing on me, I kind of like them. I am going to order 225/55R16 95H tires and just not tell anyone they are wrong.
WOW they look great, are you sure they are 16" not 17"?, I have 225/55/16 95 W, on my car on stock Avantgarde wheels, but I feel these look bigger, and I was going to replace them with a 17" x 8 J from a W211 car with 245/45/17 tyres, but I'm hesitating becuase of the bolt size, dealer say they don't fit the W210, I'm confused
