Question Climate control display

Hi,
Is there anyone out there can tell me how you remove the Climate Control display unit from the centre console?
Many thanks.

Yes, radio removal keys are what you need. I've included a picture with the MB part number. It doesn't matter what brand they are, they're all the same. I just bought them from MB because I didn't feel like making a separate trip to a car audio installation place. It took longer to type this than to remove the climate control panel.

Insert the keys with Top R and Top L, basically flat side outwards towards the doors. To remove the keys from the climate control or the radio after you've removed them, simply press on the tabs on the side of the item you've removed (plastic on the climate control, sheet metal on the radio). While pressing the tabs, pull gently on the keys, they will gladly come right back out.

Yes I noticed my climate control thingie is dusty, no I didn't dust it off.

I did it once using my wifes nail file (i was in a hurry) one side at a time, the tools are great, plus you can rent them to your friends.
