My 2000 E320 has analog TeleAid. Every time the key is turned on, a loud squak comes over the speaker as it's cell phone connection comes on. The subscription expired and the squak still is there. How do I turn it off? I do not have the cell phone feature, only the TeleAid. All other radio and cd functions work ok.

I disconnected the speaker, which is under a grill on the left side of the dashboard.

Thank you for the responce. Please be more specific about the location of the grill and how did you remove it. Did you remove it from the surface or from under the dash? Thanks again for the information.

I had same problem and cut one wire off from each of the speakers. I enclose PDF showing LH speaker grille from WIS. Hope it helps.
Cheers.

Is the squak/teleaid the only thing that uses this speaker or does the radio use it too?
I cut the speaker wires on both dash corner speakers and the squak went away and there is no change in the radio Bose system/ these speakers seem to have been used only by the teleaid and analog telephone/ I do not miss the loud squak evry time I turned on the key and the sound system is still very good.
