1996 e320 Locked out of car with dead battery, please help!!!!
Hey guys, I need your help. My sister left her lights on and drained her battery. Now I cant unlock the doors using the key. I can open the trunk with the key, but that's all. Unfortunately I don't have the flat key. What are my options here?
Im not understanding if you have the flat blade key that slips into the smart key to open the trunk.... that key opens the doors also. If you are unable to open the doors you may have to call a tow truck and have them to open the car.

I think those things are universal on all cars, I've never seen it done on a benz however. But thats what all tow trucks use when they need to get into most cars. Whats the story with your being able to open trunk but not the doors? I don't get that the trunk will release with the remote but door will not?
If you have bad door lock (it is on passenger side only in this model?) than having access to the trunk, you can charge the battery using trunk light wire.
With power to the car, the remote will work.

SMASH THE CAR DOOR WINDOW!
Easy access
No Tow Truck necessary!

Thank you guys for all the replies. I managed to backfeed the battery through the trunk light as advised in a previous post. Good to know for future reference. Now, if only the sleet/snow would let up.
