Question W140 AMG Monoblock II Wheels on W210?

(Duplicate thread on Tire Rack forum)

Can anybody answer this question? I have the opportunity to purchase a set of used 18" genuine AMG Monoblock IIs. The problem is, I have a 2001 E430 Sport and this particular set is from a W140 S class. From what I've gathered on the Wheels/Tires forum, the S class used an 18x8.5 or 18x9.5 setup (maybe staggered?) not to mention a larger offset. Is there any way these wheels could fit on my car? The price is right. I have the most basic understanding of the concepts involved here as I've always had OEM wheels. Could somebody please simplify this for me?

Much thanks in advance.

It's possible. I've seen it done.

You will need:
- Custom Bolts: 12x1.5mm 14mm ball seat with a shank length TBD.
- Hub Spacers
- Someone who knows what they are doing
- Patience
