u get what you pay for. why chance the safety of yourself & your family on something as important as your alloy wheels? those are cheap chinese-made, disaster-waiting-to-happen POS.

I know what you're saying and I agree (to a point).
Actually, you have to either be well informed or just plain lucky to get what you pay for - most times people try to give you less LOL.
I'm just saying that there has to be a middle ground somewhere.
At what price does "guaranteed quality" begin?
Is there a magic number?
$1500? $2000? Hell - why not $5000???
I mean as long as we keep our families safe right? Even at these prices a pothole could'nt care less - forged or not. Not one of these (AMG. Brabus, Lorinser, I-Forged etc.) companies warranty against pothole damage to my knowledge (please let me know if I'm wrong).
My family wouldn't like it too much if they couldn't eat because I bought overpriced wheels "to keep them safe" ya know? Why not just sell my car, get a minivan, and put the remainder in a college fund? I guess I'm too selfish for that (just joking - no wife & kids...yet)
I'm just saying that there are plenty of good folks on this board that have replica AMG, Brabus, Lorinser, etc. and they seem to be doing (and looking) just fine.
I mean what good is "DOT, JWL, VIA and TUV approved" if replica wheels are still considered crap because they didnt cost an arm and a leg?
When ProV1x wrote "cheap", I understood him to mean cheaply engineered, not cheap retail price.
There are several cheap wheels with high prices. Just google "20 inch chrome rims" and check out the crap that comes up.
There are also several high quality wheels with low prices. OEM Mercedes wheels are one example (i.e. AMG Monoblock II from W210 E55). And they can be found for a reasonable price.

I would first try and find OEM wheels that you like. The dealers have wheel catalogs with pictures so you can browse through them at the parts counter. If you find one (or more) you like, ask them for a price. If you think that is too high, then get the part # and look around on eBay Motors.
This is exactly what I did when the wheels I wanted were almost $500 each from the dealer (probably not bad for AMG wheels, but these were not).

it begins when you buy wheels from your local shop, you see wheels before you buy them so no missleading pictures, right offset right lug bolts, and if they leak or crack you can return them or exchang them at the shop, not like ebay companies shipping and noncense return policies....tirerack, discounttire.... just
my 2 cents I heard too much bad stories buying replicas thru internet
I'm sorry to hear those are china crap, i hate china made anything, except plates. I really like those rims, i saved them for the rims i want for the summer. Are they knockoffs of another mfg? If so, who? I dont mind spending the extra money for the real thing so who makes the originals?

I was going somewhere else with the question but I hear ya & cant argue w/ a good 2 cents. I guess you & I have just had different experiences w/ buying rims off the net. Nothing takes the place of good old fashioned research / knowledge in either case (buying locally or otherwise). Just wondering if anyone here had first hand experience with this particular wheel or seller so that I could either scratch them off the list of options or give them further consideration.
I wanted to stay along the lines / style of the Brabus Monoblock VI multi's (which I beleive these replicate Diego97) until I can save up for forged customs - but dont have the connections / currency to get the (guarenteed authentic) real thing new. I love my car and plan on keeping her a while but the urge to swap out the wheels & drop her is killing me though - especially since I have a brand new set of 18 inch tires from another project just sitting here.
