gregs, much obliged! i will be doing the change today with 5w-40 shell rotella syn T b/c i don't know when the last change was done. so, day 0 and i'll monitor for any seepage.

Without the stick, no way I get this done, but now it makes complete sense and will NEVER pay another to do it!
