about your fog light, it;s an H1 bulb, and you gotta lift the car, remove the black covering underneath the car and do it from there. it's covered better in this thread. http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w210...lamp-bulb.html
about your heated seats, it should heat both the back and the bottom.

DON'T need to jack the car up...i just changed my bulb last week...it's NOT the easiest thing in the world (and be sure NOT to touch the bulb with your hands), but it can be done...

if i were you i would buy the H1 fog lamps at any parts store, than i would go to a small neighborhood car shop that has a lift and have them do it. it should take them like 5 min, and they will charge you probably like $10-15.
The heater coil heating your seat may be out but both will heat but the back much more....the fog lights you dont haveto lift the car get underneath as best you can and remove the belly pan or big plastic piece and reach up for the H1 bulb...
Seat heaters is a common thing to go in W210's.
Unfortunately, the element comes as one piece with full leather replacement. Retail cost on the part is $950 CDN plus labour....unless you can find one elsewhere. I'd live without butt-heat for $1200+.
I read a recommendation from a fellow forum member. He showed after market replacement heating kit, starting from $80.00. That will be worth looking into. Unfortunately, I do not remember the title. Please search because he provided a link.
This is my first car with heated seats. With this one I told myself that my behind does not need to be adjusted 8 different ways; that I could live without the heated seats. I must admit however that it is quite nice to have it in this part of the country.
If the heated seats go however, and after market cannot replace it, I'll live.
The trip to the Caribbean I have been thinking about all these years, will finally become a reality.
