I posted pics of the parking damage to my car in general and I have a PDR guy who thinks he can clean it up, but wants me to pull the headlight to give him some room. I've heard that in swapping the complete assemblies for the depos, etc in the newer chassis you have to pull the bumper, is that the case if all you want is the housing out of the way? Anyone done this?
Pointers are most welcome.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

On The Model Update 2000/2002 W210s The Front bumper MUST be removed to change the headlight assy...The early W210s One does Not ...
The front bumper is Very easy to remove...remove the inner wheel well plastic covers..remove the screw that secures the fender/bumper support..and pry it loose..remove the screws at the headlight area and the screws at the lower grill/fog area x2..remove the side marker bulb holders and the outside temp sender..then the fog light harnessX2
Might ask the PDR person to try to Use the fender well with a S hook and use the tire as support
