I'll repeat what I generally say about spark plugs. If your car runs fine with the ones MBZ originally put in and it's otherwise stock (i.e., no aftermarket blower, etc.), then pull one out (an easy one) and examine it, if the color looks good then just buy a set of what's in there. It's not as though stock plugs are junk, and the difference in price to the high-end premium plugs isn't going to net you anything noticeable beyond (1) a larger dent in your wallet and (2) a longer lasting plug. Driveability, startup and fuel economy will remain the same whether you install the high-dollar plugs or a new set of the OEM ones.
That said, any premium plug should work just fine, including Bosch's latest and greatest.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

well the thing is i have a 25% percent coupon off at kragens and they sell only the Bosch Platinum +2, +4 and the fusions which are iridium and no OEM. So i thought it be good to get the Fusion for the same price as if i was to get OEMs at a local auto parts place.
It seems that my car is a little shaky on first startup of the day and while idle it shakes a little. could it be the spark plugs?
I was thinking of getting the Fusion for piece of mind and hopefully get some better gas mileage out of it. My car is at 80K so far.

You can't adjust the gap on those Iridium plugs, which is why it's not listed. Platinum plugs do have a gap, but you're not supposed to adjust them; they're supposed to be pregapped from the factory for the particular application.
But I completely agree with Greg. If your car isn't missing, you won't get more power from expensive plugs. It's possible that they will last longer, but not a given.
I've had a few engines that hated Bosch Platinum plugs (this was before the Iridium plugs were out) and missed badly after just a few weeks. $1 Champion plugs worked great for a year in them.
ya i heard people telling me platinums were giving alot of problems but if i could Iridiums for the same price as the OEM would it be ok? on bosch's website they list them under my vechicle but then again they list the platinums, +2 and +4.

If you're not paying a price premium I can't imagine them giving you any problems. Since your rough idle is just at cold startup it may be plug related, but in any event you'll know after you change them.
well its also on reverse and sitting idle sometimes at a light, but it comes and goes, but when reversing it vibrates all the time. Im guessing it could be the engine mount.
So has anyone used the Fusion sparkplugs yet, Please please someone tell me, im so wanting to buy it. i can really get a good deal on it, but alot are saying stick with OEM.
Mercedes is a well engineered world class automobile. They would not have put in low or medium grade parts that will affect the performance. I have used platinum +4, platinum, Denso Irridium, and my consensus, stick with OEM.
