If you disconect/change the battery and there is no power for x amount of seconds you will now need to reprogram the windows, sunroof, radio, etc...
If you search there are some links to instructions on all of this.
The one thing you'll need to get the tunes back is the 4 digit radio code.
I did'nt have mine so a trip to the dealer got me set up.
Good luck!
Just to clarify, Roadside is on call 24/7 with the tech having the service vehicle at home.
MB roadside assistance will provide a jump, battery, tire change, and fuel for the lifetime of your vehicle. The battery replacement is usually $150 with no labor, if you drive into the dealer they will charge labor (my local dealer sent out a notice that they wont charge labor any more). The technicial is on call and usually carries batteries, and has access to the radio code, and will re sync all the windows and such. The tech will also reconfirm by calling you back
For minor repairs , like a hose or fan belt they will charge, and will arrange a tow if it needs it. If you are not resonably close to a dealer they will arange something with a local service.
I think there was a litlle skirting going on in Texas, the service manager usually does not do service calls, and there should be no time and a half penalty, since MBUSA pays them. But if you come in to the shop, another story
$147.00 from MB Roadside Assistance took less one hour wait after calling. Technician reset everything, overall a very satisfying experience.
Cheers.

I've just been battery shopping, so here is small update.
Sam's carry Group 49 batteries, good for E430 and diesels for $75
Costco carry Group 48 batteries good for E320 for $70.
Those batteries come with 100 months warranty, comparing to 24 from MB. Also on Sept 20 I was able to buy battery manufactured in September, so I know it is fresh.
It really takes just seconds to swap the battery and reset everything if you know what to do.
The only problem I had, was too familiar sound at my LR window. Look for window regulator update soon.

Hey, Kajtek1, both of the Costco's I checked didn't have the MB vented battery, only the very pricey Optima; I didn't think the Group 48 had the vent? Sam's over in Concord has the proper replacement for the E320 for right at $50, looks like a relabeled version of the Interstate MTP93 I bought elsewhere for about $100.
Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

Greg don't be the "late" guy.
Costco brings new stuff every week. As of today the Concord place not only have vented batteries, but also 3 weights of Mobil 1.
Shall I mention nice collection of $70 a bottle vodkas?
