Hey, folks.

As I narrow my focus on my (no-codes) miss, if I decide to replace the cats I have found that Magnaflow now makes one that is California OBD-II compliant. Race pages sells them for $66 each with free shipping. The Magnaflow part number is 53005CA.

OKAY, strike that. Race pages is auto parts warehouse and about 15 other sites, and they sucked for service (sold me one, told me they shipped two, eventually refunded my money). Allexhaust.com sells the Magnaflow aftermarkets, same as above, and were actually a bit cheaper...and free shipping as well.

Take care and enjoy the ride,
Greg

What I have a question on is what is the difference in MB parts and OEM parts...as he told me he wouldn't use OEM parts...said it wouldn't work right with the engine...what is the expereince been??? I thought OEM were approved by MB...

Thank you...

Cats might still be covered under the 8yr / 80,000 mile FED mandate emission warranty. You'll have to find out what the original in service date is for your car.
