Instrument Cluster Removal

Boy, this is tougher than I thought. Used the wire hanger and cannot get this thing out........

The clips hold it pretty well. Once you get it moved about 1/8" on each side (one side at a time) it comes out easily.

It really is possible to remove the cluster with your bare hands. I've been successful at it a few times, and it just takes some patience and a good grip. Give it a try if you cannot manage with the hooks.

Save yourself ALOT of possible anguish (AND EXPENSE!!--The Instrument Cluster is VERY Expensive, and VERY Easy to BREAK/CRACK).

For the 20 or so bucks, get yourself some OEM hooks, and do it the correct way!

I am inclosing the WIS instructions. Be sure you angle the hooks laterally, as indicated.
