I’m walking trough the garage with my wife and as we pass the rear of my car she says, I thought you had a C class, I have always thought to my self that one day I hope you will get a better car. This is a nice E class. … What do you say to that?

I just put an order in for a Maybach. She will think its a S class.

I can even tell an older E320 by the back lights and a few other interior things! The earlier W210's had some physical minor differences then they changed the back lights and the interior. I guess she just doesn't know her Benzes!

Don't try to understand it, or explain it to yourself, roll with the punches. They say revenge is best served cold, so...

Next time she is going out and is wearing some swanky gear just say, "Oh, that is a nice dress, did you get that in (Insert cheapo discount-store brand of your choice)

Then, and maybe only then, she may understand the vitriolic verbal attack she had just made.

No big deal, she just doesn't know what the Mercedes classifications mean. And if she thinks anything like my girlfriend does, she couldn't care less!

Thanks man! BTW, did you order the rear window roller blinds from Caliber Motors that G-AMG posted somewhere on here?

I finally got mine ordered, and then a day or two later, BenzNL in the Netherlands finally got back to me with a price for the set of two ($320 including shipping).

That guy Jessie at Caliber is a bit scatter-brained, but at least he was going to have them shipped to Annaheim to make sure I would receive a R+L pair, and not two lefts, or two rights!
