255/40/17 on OE wheel? - Benzworld.org

I own a E430 Sport with 235/45/17 on 17x8 or 8.5 wheels. Can I stagger the rear with a 255/40/17 tire with out changing to a wider wheel. I like the OE wheels.

Are you sure acarter53??I've never seen something like that on a W210..i can imagine it a litlle bit balloonish!The 245/40/17 sounds better in every way.
