Hi Folks, I just recently bought this lovely 2002 E320CDI Estate. It has a Brabus D6 kit which has boosted the BHP figure to 241. it also has Brabus badges on the boot and bonnet. It's fast, quiet (well it makes the right kind of noises ) and comfortable.
This isn't a great photo - it's a bit blurred and low-resolution.
There are a a couple of things I want to ask but I'll add a couple of new threads.
It's good to be on board. This looks like a great resource for Mercedes Benz owners.

LOL, as a matter of fact I do, but I prefer german sausages. The reason I asked you about haggis is because all of the intenet Scots I know on the 'net say it's awful! I'll try a taste if I ever get to Scotland, and btw, I just bought a real Harris Tweed sports coat

Haggis is a good winter food. Lots of carbs and fat to keep out the cold. There are some nice vegetarian haggis, which I prefer, although I'm not vegetarian.
On your Harris tweed coat: We used to have an office in Shawbost on the Isle of Lewis which had a traditional Harris tweed weaver nearby. The equipment he used was really old and still serviced by the original vendor, somewhere in Yorkshire I think. A cool way of life if you ask me.

My dad just gave me his Harris Tweed that he had made in Scotland in the 70's... a great vintage find that fits me perfectly and is the real thing!

I'll try and remember that about the vegetarian variety. The recipe I saw had meat in it and was boiled in a sheep's stomach, if I remember correctly.
I think the story about the tweeds here is that the best come from your Outer Hebrides Islands. I'll have a look at a map to see where you're talking about.

That sounds like a nice one. Mine came from Land's End, has the Harris Tweed label sewn in, but it was made in Mexico! A salesman here told me they are hard to find because they don't sell - our winters must not be cold enough. I haven't seen them in regular men's stores for several years.
