what model do you have? Mine AWD traction controll will cut the engine off once you loose traction.
SUCKS.

i do it sometimes when its rain or like after rain cause its easiest and dont kill as much as tires....umm i dont know but sometimes on rain i would make a left or right and hit gas hard and the Traction would kick in but after driving a lil the traction sensor goes on the the srs sensor goes on...so i just stop the car and turn it off and turn it back on again and its gone...also on snow i would shut off the traction control but it dont let you go to crazy u still feel the gas pedal not allow you to give power ...but havent had any serious issues..

Even with 4matic AWD, traction control can be turned off, right? I've never tried it because I like the grip. Has anyone skidded around in a 4matic with traction control off?
