The oil filter canister has the torque value marked on outside of the canister case.

Both of these are approx 18 ft/lbs (that's as close as I can recall from the metric conversion).

I heard a neat trick for the O/F cover, mark it before you remove it, then retighten it to the same spot. Then you don't need a torque wrench, etc. on it.

Remember to change the crush washer on the drain plug, they're dirt cheap and intended to be single-use only.
