I see some on eBay for as low as $8. Do these include schematics, etc.? I know they are not actual MB in the way Chilton is not true GM or Ford manuals but do they have decent info?
lolz, this seems to be your only answer for every single question members ask. what's the point ? on ***************** u have the exact cut and paste for almost every post you reply to. why even bother ? everyone knows the 800 number and we all know there are service DVD's available from mercedes. This is not the information people are asking for in such technical forums

I don't know why you're complaining.
His answer exactly addresses the question asked, and is in fact the best answer to this question. Certainly you and I realize that we can buy the DVD from MB, but not everyone knows this. It's somewhat hard to find on their web site.
My understanding is that MBZ stopped making cd's in 95. You can however go to www.startekinfo.com which is an authorized MBZ site and, for a fee, view any and all tec info.
You can get a paper manual, CD or DVD for ANY Mercedes you can own except perhaps for one that's only 1-2 years old.
Format depends on age of your car, i.e. paper for the old ones, DVD for the new ones.
The ONLY place you'll find a comprehensive electrical wiring diagram for a W210 is the DVD from Mercedes. Or Mercedes WIS.
Very few folks that own these resources will prove willing to go through the effort of finding a requested diagram (there are hundreds) and then converting it to a format that can be posted in a forum like this. It would be illegal to do so in any event. Ask mb.braingears.com
This forum should really be for questions like
- What are the hidden tricks not in the manual?
- I read the manual but don't understand it.
It's rather fantasy to come here knowing nothing about auto mechanics and having no manual at hand and expecting "for dummies" solutions that you can use.
Effort should match effort. The effort expended by those that provide answers should be matched by effort by the questioner prior to asking the question.
In this case "where can I find information" the answer is just as simple.
