Cool Is there any way to make my Steering wheel extend further?

Is there any way i can make the steering wheel on my '97 E420 extend 1 or 2 inches further ? could i remove the wheel and add a spacer ?? its no biggie for the normal drive, but on the long distance roadtrips its killer..i get fatigued alot faster.if it wasnt for that block of foam thay put under the dash infront of my right knee i could just move my seat forward a bit .Can that foam pice be removed? whats behind it?anyway i hope sum1 cam help me think up a fix

I don't think I've ever seen anyone else ask this, but you might try the search feature, just for kicks. Otherwise, I hope someone has an idea.

I guess I'm lucky because I seem to fit in the car pretty well with the stock adjustments. For what it's worth, I almost always have the steering wheel as far back toward me as it will go, and the seat all the way back. When I get fatiqued, it is in my lower back, so I vary the angle of the seat back for relief, or move the whole seat slightly forward.

Good luck, and welcome to the forum.
