Replaced the shocks still rough ride!!!

I installed a month a ago bilstein shocks heavy duty cause the ride was bumpy and i thought the rims made it that way but now winter time i always put my old wheels and i still hear noise when i go over pot holes like the car is gonna fall apart....Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated!!

Put the OEM std shocks back on it and check the rubber parts of the suspension for excessive wear.

so u saying my suspension might be damaged...cause i doubt the suspension was ever changed on the car

have you checked spring perch for the famed and notorious rust?

also check if everything is tight ie; bolts ,also check if the spring is sitting properly.
