Reverse mirror not returning to orig. position

Is it me or the automatic reverse mirror on the passenger side really stays on dip

position when one get the gear lever out of reverse?The only way to get it to

normal position is to press the other button .Can someone please tell me

if i am doing something wrong here.My other car once you are out of reverse

the mirror goes back to normal.

Hi there fellow members,

Its my mistake i should have read the manual more thoroughly.I learn something

new again today.I was comparing my e430 with my other one so i thought this

advance technology which came from the same country would be the same.

It says on the manual that it will go back to its original position at speed above

6 mph or switch it to the driver side.
